"Initially, neither the buyer or seller felt it was necessary to use an escrow service.  They trusted each other and there were no outstanding liens.  It was a 'clean' deal.  Within a few days of {Aero-Space's} involvement, they both realized the value that your service added to the transaction.  I had lunch with both the buyer and seller on the closing day. They both admitted there was a lot they did not know, and there was the potential for plenty of mistakes in the process.  Not only did you provide all the necessary guidance to make the transaction run smoothly, you also reduced their workload by communicating well with all parties.  It made me look good for recommending you.

"Almost as an afterthought I submitted my request for a title search.  After all, the plane had been in the same small community of pilots for years and having a clear title was the least of my concerns.  Within 24 hours I heard back from Aero-Space Reports that there were two issues found from liens placed years ago.  I emailed some questions and received clear and complete explanations of the problems and even some advice on what would be required to clear the issues.  The previous owner(s) tried to handle this themselves but not having a thorough knowledge of the process were not able to resolve either issue.  I asked Aero-Space Reports to help us resolve the issue and clear the title.  They explained the process and started immediately.  Within two weeks they had filed the papers with the FAA to document the satisfaction of the liens.  Aero-Space Reports kept me informed of the status and answered all my questions with no hesitation.  If one of the contacts I had was out of the office, another would step in and reply to my concerns.  All of this happened during the Christmas / New Year Holiday period.  I expected a company recommended by AOPA to be very professional and competent but I was overwhelmed by the great customer service beyond the specific work I had paid them to do.  Even after the title issues were cleared, they helped this first time aircraft buyer with the registration process.  Professional expertise and customer service beyond expectations.  I can’t recommend the people at Aero-Space Reports enough.  I can see why AOPA selected them as a strategic partner.
